November Alumni Chat with Shavonn Whiten
Join your fellow alumni Wednesday, November 16th, 6-7 p.m. ET for a candid conversation with STPF Director Rashada Alexander and Shavonn Whiten, 2019-21 Executive Branch Fellow and Lead Scientist with Booz Allen Hamilton.
In looking over her career thus far, Shavonn thinks about building bridges and breaking barriers in mentorship, STPF, hurdles and the choices that brought her to her next steps. Shavonn made the move from her graduate studies in Texas to a placement in STPF because of a similarly voiced desire, “to have a greater impact”.
With several significant successes under her belt, she is still curious about post-STPF career paths and the making of a science policy professional. Whether your STPF service was decades earlier or like Shavonn, you are just a year out of the program, this conversation promises to make you think. Bring questions for her, she has some for you.
